John Farnworth – World Record Football Freestyler visits Gisburn Road!
A big thank you to John Farnworth who visited our school on Friday to show off his impressive skills and teach our classes some of his amazing skills in workshops throughout the day. John is a very talented and inspirational person – he is the current holder of 9 world records, he has completed the London Marathon by keeping the ball up for the entire 26.2 miles and he has also got to the base camp of Mount Everest by simply keeping the ball up the entire way all the way to the top. John was fantastic with the children both in both his workshops and assembly and the children all had a fantastic day!
