Year 3 and Year 4 Cross Country Competition

Year 3/4 Cross Country Competition @ Earby Primary School

Well done to all our Cross Country competitors who did fantastic on Wednesday afternoon at Earby Springfield. The girls went first and all had to run 1.2 miles around the fields of Earby Springfield, all finishing their run in the top 30 girls out of the 45 that entered. The boys then went next and did magnificent too. All of our boys finished in the top 14 out of the 45 boys who entered. This meant that when the overall team positions were read out at the end, the girls finished in overall 4th position out of the 8 schools and the boys finished in runners up position out of the 8 schools that had entered. A great effort from all our runners and shows that Marathon Kids is slowly working. Well done team!
