🌟Class of 2023🌟 Today, we have all enjoyed a Leavers’ Assembly to celebrate the remarkable achievements of our Year 6 class. These occasions are often sad and emotional; however, they are primarily a time for joy and celebration as we reflect on the journey of our pupils while at primary school and to also look forward towards the journey that they are all about to embark upon as they move into their new secondary schools. During the assembly, Year 6 shared their most memorable moments at Gisburn Road, we heard their hopes and aspirations for the future and they sang a farewell song which they wrote with Mr Gilmour; there wasn’t a dry eye in the building!
Our Year 6 group this year have been outstanding; not just in their academic achievements but in the progress they have demonstrated around our core values of respect, trust, perseverance, honesty and kindness. They are a credit to themselves, their families and our school and we would like to wish each of them every success in the future. ❤️🦉 #gisburnroadfamily #classof2023
