Visit to Gisburn Road School, Barnoldswick’s Allotment
Another day, another polytunnel funded by the Pendle Council Climate Emergency Working Group! I just saw Reception’s session, but the Club runs through all the years in the school and its members were all extremely enthusiastic – really getting stuck in!
The polytunnel allows them to give all their herbs and veg a head start and get ahead with the growing season, so harvesting can take place before the end of term.
