Year 2 enjoyed a visit from Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service (Official) yesterday, who taught us what we need to do in case of a fire. Can your children explain ‘Stop, Drop and Roll’ to you? Do they know your fire escape plan at home and how to check if it is safe to open a door? Do you check your fire alarms regularly. (The fire service will replace any that don’t work free of charge.)
Does your child know their address and postcode in case they need to ring 999?
